Kids Creation Station (KCS) is a new way to engage children with 3D Printing Technology in a fun way that inspires creativity. Children often draw the most fantastic creatures and things, expressing themselves in an entirely unmediated, uninhibited way. As amazing as these creations are, they’re always stuck to the page- flat. Kids Creation Station gives childrens’ drawings a new depth, giving parent and child alike something to touch and hold; to proudly display in a cabinet instead of hang on the fridge. Kids can explore their creations in a new dimension and see their creativity made real and tangible.

Kids Creation Station also introduces children to 3D Printing Technology, so they can experience the wonders of creating a 3D object from their imagination, giving them an understanding, and empowering them to work with this exciting new technology in the future.

To use Kids Creation Station, all you need a drawing you really like and a way to upload it to the website. Take a picture of the drawing (you can use our app) and upload it to your personal library. Once uploaded, you can order a 3D Print of your drawing. When you order a 3D Print, your drawing is sent our 3D modelers, who, through the use of Z-Brush, a specialized 3D modeling software, interpret how the drawing would look like in 3 dimensions. After the 3D model is created, it is sent to a 3D printer, which prints the model of the 2D drawing in 3D! You can also share your drawings and renders of 3D Models with friends and/or family.
